Pre-treatment

Digital Flatbed Printer, Flatbed Solvent Printer Manufacturer | DMPS

Pretreatment can make ink penetrate into the cell of surface of substrates which is not compatible to ink by forcing cell open chemically and physically. DMPS has been pursuing to develop new and/or updated solution since replacing of silk screen for diversified and advanced technology.

PCM

PCM, Corona pretreatment, gas type, improves the printing endurance where its surface is not compatible to ink. Use manual instruction. Mostly apply to hard PP products.

F3

F3 is the transparent pretreatment of Urethane and it has a less distortion of color due to less breaking, less crack and transparent compare to sulfurous varnish. There are spray type(420ml) and liquid type(18l) and room temperature dry is recommendable for 1 hours.

If liquid type, recommends to use it with uniall thinner and to dilute at ratio of 8(solution):2(thinner) accordingly. 420ml of spray gun can covers 30 pcs of A3 size. Endurance is not strong enough and weak on alcohol and chemical

Primer JO

Light yellow pretreatment of Urethane and superior adhesiveness and endurance than F3 and silk screen type and almost transparent due to its thin thickness. Not contact with chemical even after dry completely because of chemical reaction, if inevitable, recommends to top coating.

Solution and, dilution of Anong, Kisylene,1:1 ratio and covers 300~400 pcs of A3 size and 2~3 hours for room temperature drying.
Packed by 1 kg and avoid contact in the air due to liquid type.

Spider UV Primer

Clear liquid type and binding when reacting with UV ink. Recommends to pretreat right before printing because reacting solution on the surface will dry out.

After printing, clean the remaining solution with alcohol or acetone except for printed area.
Mainly for crystal and stainless and always seal the cap completely because it is volatile and once it opened, consume within 2 months

TX-Pretreatment

In general, it doesn't need any treatment for white T-shirts.
However, it needs the pretreatment for more vivid color and for improving washing durability both white and dark T-shirts. Here is details information how to use it.

Fabric to use Liquid : Water Speed (Sec.) Press temperature press time (Sec.) Curing time (Sec.)
Vivid bright Cotton Light 1:1 5~7 160℃ 30(s') 45
Polyester Light 1:1 4~5 160℃ 30(s') 45
Vivid dark Cotton
*1) (Very dark colors)
100% 1~2 160℃ 30(s') 60~90
Cotton
*2) (Getting Bright colors)
1:1 1~2 160℃ 30(s') 60~90

*1) The meaning of very Dark Color, such as Black, Dark Navy, Dark Blue etc.
*2) The meaning of getting Bright colors, such as Red, Orange, Gray and Yellow etc.

※ Tips

  • When there is yellowing problem, need to reduce the pressure of the heating press
  • If not much different from No.1, Need to reduce the pretreatment liquid
  • Notice when white ink uses
If the white ink color looks not enough as you want, need to do one more time pretreatment in our experience, the reason is that each fabrics are something different properties so the fabric may have different reaction, in addition, you can try to increase curing time up to 120sec. these are depending one working condition and fabric thus you need to set up own process by own evaluation.
